Kaylen's Moment

Kaylen has been upset with me since Advent because I posted all those photos of Sodak attending to the creche. She's upset that it made her look like a heathen. I, gently, reminder her that tending to the creche is, in fact, something Sodak does and she doesn't. She ignores it.

In an effort to make peace in the home, I'm posting this photo of her in her favorite place: on my bed in the sun. Uh, yes, it was laundry day! LOL

Kaylen was a fostered kitty. I adopted her, in December 2005, from a lady that welcomed her into her home for 9 months. Yes, 9 months AND she had other cats of her own. Fostering a pet is a great thing. What, my friend, Adoro is doing with Bear is a beautiful thing. He will be ready for a new home when it's time.

Yes, a lovely, regal-looking cat.
I sure do hope there are cats in heaven!

What a cute little kitty! She looks so calm and well-behaved, despite the fact she's upset. I'll bet Toby could learn a thing or two from Kaylen about behaving.

She really is beautiful (and I am not someone who would approve of said cat on my bed, but that's another post!:<)!).

Very pretty but can't really say she is prettier than my Angela and Erica (but very, very close.

(I have to say this 'cause Erica is on desk duty drooling on the keyboard)

I gave her all these compliments and now she's so proud!

Father: She hissed at you. Sorry. The comment about the bed set her off!

Not a comment on the cat - but a question. Excuse me for butting in.

I am visiting St. Paul this Friday and am wondering if the Cathedral is open to the public during the day. I would love to get a look on the inside and make a visit. Does anyone here know anything about scheduling?

Please post on the blog about Kaylen, the cat.

Stephen: Yes, it is open to the public during the day. I don't know the exact hours. Probably on their website.

Cats always love to make their beds. Miss Active has found a place on mine during the wintertime again and she's always laughing at things she doesn't always know. She loved going to my voice lesson once (and meeting my teacher's furry feline), and she learns about felines and singers.

Cathy, check out the last photo on Fr. Blake's post from Rome - I think it is Sodak in Rome! LOL!

He must be able to bilocate.

Cathy of Alex: I visited my sister today who has a cat, "Skunky", who actually came out to investigate me (last time he hid), sniff me, and rub up against me. Am I forgiven?:<)!

That picture reminds me of my cat Beau; our bed is his favorite place (no, he doesn't get to sleep there at night). In the morning before I go to work I let him in the bedroom; it's his job to get my husband up so he's not late for work. A cold wet nose in your face works pretty good.
