Ladies Argument of the Month Club

Phooey on those men at St. Augustine in South St. Paul, Minnesota. Adoro and I started a Catholic Ladies Argument of the Month club.

The photo is rather blurry, because we move so quickly, but you can see we are attired modestly. Here we are shown settling a heated argument over whether salad should only be consumed if it's grown locally versus transported overland. Is one method of delivery safer than the other? Is there a difference in freshness and quality? Also, we touch upon the recent expansion of truck traffic from Mexico-can Mexico have a role to play in salad transport? Should they? Is China trying to kill us off via bad salad? Fencing is the civilized way we settle arguments in this club. Plus, it's a great workout!

Update: Vincenzo cleaned up the print!

Oh this is fun! I hope Vincenzo sees this. In fact, I'm going to check the archives for a video. This is so much neater than the mud-wrestling you guys used to do.

Women with swords?

I'm staying the heck out of this. And I'm buying a Kevlar vest and automatic pistol, to be on the safe side.

Well, that didn't work, so all I can say is that is one of the funniest posts that I have seen in my 18 months in the world of blogs.

Histor ~

I am well versed in the use of firearms, and quite honestly, your own prowess with such a weapon is no match for one who wields a knife. Or a sword. Why? Although it seems counter-intuitive, if you think about it, you'll see that someone can cross a room and behead you before you can even remove your pistol from the holster.

That lesson was brought home to us in training.

Swords are the weapons of the FUTURE!

And women are the NEW CRUSADERS! LEPANTO!

Oh, and Cathy forgot to mention that we also had frivolous discussions on spirituality, readings from St. Thomas Aquinas' "Summa Theologica", and have posed a new idea for a synthetic scripture study, the results of which will be presented to the Holy Father, in no less than one year from now; he will need the information for his encyclical.

We just think better when wielding swords. Knitting needles are too dangerous.

Adoro: Heavens I forgot about the synthetic scripture discussion. Well, you know how passionate I get about iceberg versus romaine.

The women of St. Paul/Mpls diocese should have a AOTM for females to educate, enrich and socilaize within our faith. Or is there already one in existence and not publicized?

Anything they can do, (the males) we can do better or at least equal.

I am a member of St. A's and am totally fired up about having a female group. What do we say Ladies?
