Day of Penance

Today, in the United States, is a Day of Penance to mark the anniversary of the law that brought abortion into the law of our land.

Do something to make reparation for this evil. Even if you have not had an abortion and don't know anyone who has (be grateful) and were not personallhy responsible for Roe v Wade's enactment, we have much to atone for as a nation.

Too many shrug or glory in the liberality that perpetuates the myth that to kill an unborn child in the womb is a "right".

Thank you, C of A: Mother Teresa made it very clear that if the unborn child, so vulnerable, is in danger through abortion, the rest of us are not safe either.
And just look at what is happening in Europe and in some parts of our country (lots of it happening in the secrecy of hospitals where the comatose or elderly or terminal are starved and dehydrated to death with familial approval).
Prayer and penance will drive this demon out.
God is faithful; we must be faithful to Him and His Word.

I think one thing all God fearing Christains MUST do, regardless of their denomination is VOTE pro-life!
If the person you are going to vote for is pro-choice or "personally opposed" but beleives in choice, then that person should not get your VOTE! We must wake up people! Use our God given brains and common sense and research the people we vote for. Pray abortion is stopped in this nation!
