Whatever You Do, Don't Die Before Friday!

Almost all of the Priests of the Archdiocese are in Rochester for the Presybyter's Meeting with the Archbishop. Most parishes have reduced schedules this week. I'm sure if it's an emergency your priest will come home but, don't take any chances, don't die this week!

I know - our parish is having Communion services all week with the parish secretary officiating.

St. Agnes is having Communion services, too. But, the parish is blessed with wonderful deacons to hold down the fort.
Rochester, it's not even in the diocese. Is this just a way to get some privacy?

Cathy, Thanks for your reference to Relevant Radio. I’ve enjoyed listening to it on my computer. You may also like http://www.sacredheartradio.org/ . Noticed Archbishop Nienstedt will be on Relevant Radio June 25 – July 6. Missed him today but hopefully I’ll catch him tomorrow. Off to RCIA now to teach on the mystery of Creation.

My parish priest lives next door so I can feel comfortable popping off at any time.

If anyone would like to go to a beautiful Mass tomorrow evening (Tuesday, June 26th), it is the feast day of St. Josemaria Escriva and there will be a special Mass at Holy Family church in St. Louis Park at 7:30pm (Confessions prior, at 6:30pm). Come one, come all!

There are religious priests around...the Redemptorists are assisting at my parish, and, I suspect, some others as well, but we will have to do without one of our Masses.

I'm assuming they'll be hearing confessions after mass as usual, too.

Cathy - what did you wear to Theology on Tap? I heard you were on your best behavior.

Thanks all.

Mary: I can't make it. I have Adoration tonight. Sounds lovely.

Terry: True, because I basically did not say anything. I just sat there and drank and ate-two things I excel at! :-)

Thanks for the tip, Cathy! You sure are a full service blogger. I'll have to remember that when the St Blog's awards come up again.

My boss at the hospital who is a diocesan priest is at Seton Hall U this week. I suspect he doesn't have much to do with "diocesan things."

And you complained about EMHC's giving blessings?
