The Results are In!

The Catholic Blog Award 2007 results are up. Congratulations to the bloggers with the most votes!

Every faithful Catholic blogger is a winner in my book. You are a witness to His Truth.

As a result of the Sweeps Week trolling, we probably all have some new blogs to read, eh?

Thanks, Mitchell. Our Word was a nominee so you get a button. Go on over to the voting site and pick it up!

Congratulations for getting nominated!

Although nobody had a chance against the 5 really popular blogs...who of course had advertising campaigns read by everybody...so...

I think there should be a "Best Blog read by less than 1000 a day" contest.

histor: I'm with you. I think a lot of small blogs have excellent and original writing/reporting.

While I think Fr. Z and Amy Welborn are deserving of all the votes they received I think there should be separate categories for published writers.

Thanks, Adoro.

Angela, Perhaps not only that but I like Histor's idea of awards for best blogs with a certain size of readership (ie. under 500 views/day, under 100 views/day etc.)

Also, I believe the winners are all from the USA (I'm not sure where the Rorate Coeli crew is from. Father Z is both USA and Italy based)? Also, all the winners (really all the nominees) are English language blogs. Are there no good Catholic blogs in Spanish, French etc?
